Expanding understanding of homes
in response to the climate crisis.
space is responsive to human body.
Location - barbican conservatory london UK
the brand Humanity+ objectives and image.
Speculative design university project.
This space is exploring human adaptation possibilities. the aim of
this project is to expand our understanding of homes it’s texture
and meaning. this Space is mimicking changes in outside world and
becoming alive. With the change, it starts to breathe and respond to
the human body. In a hostile world, people start to spend more time
indoors because of air pollution and extreme weather condition this
narrative is creating a sense of home but strongly altered from what
we know today. Our home is our body, and this space replicates us at
least at very surface -vibration and tactile stimuli.
Speculative furniture made form mushroom is one of the key points of
this installation. Mushroom material (mycelium) is starting to get used
in interior design as well as industrial. it is very easily modified and
finished material is very strong and sustainable. I used this to open
the audience mind a bit and show that there is hope. Humans will not
die, the world will not end, but enhancement will change our homes
and spaces and at the same time ourselves.

this design will encourage audience to feel free to touch
installations and remember this sensation. touch stimuli is creating
intimacy curiosity and empathy

Sometimes evolutionary speed is so fast and it will change how we live
now. From simple napkin to automobile. I hope this project will free
audience mind and perception of what future suppose to look like or
what we are told to. and open free interpretations and visions of all
possibilities and hope.
